The fixed top is secured to a single cleat with flat headed screws; four of the screws have been replaced and the holes filled. The rim of the edge of the table has a slight convex edge. There are filled holes on the underside of the top indicating that the top was either repositioned or replaced. The turned pedestal has an urn at the base and a ring turning at the top with a round tenon fitted into a cleat. The cabriole legs of the candle stand are attached to the pedestal with sliding dovetails. Nail holes in the knees of the legs indicate a spider, now missing.
