(48.3 cm)"},{"label":"Description","value":"Federal-style, shield-back side chair made with mahogany and maple secondary wood and satinwood inlay.  The crest rail is serpentine and molded. The molded stiles curve to a an inlaid point at the bottom of the chair back with fan marquetry. Between the stiles are three curved vertical slats molded, embellished with carvings, and inlaid with sunbursts. Curved, bead-molded rear stiles support the chair back. The trapezoidal seat is upholstered over the rail. The therm front legs are outlined in light wood stringing that arches at the top of each leg. The rear legs are stump, canted backward.
