The top of this small side or occasional table overhangs the edges at the front sides back and is secured to the apron with screws in screw pockets. The edge of the top is veneered with a tri-colored geometric inlay of light and dark wood bordered top and bottom by a light wood stringing.    The legs extend to the underside of the top and form the corners of the apron. The legs are joined to the apron sides with mortise and tenon joints and to the top with screws in pockets. The rectangular apron contains a single drawer at the front.    The drawer front has book matched figured mahogany veneer bordered by a band of geometric stringing in light and dark woods. An oval brass bail pull is mounted to the center of the drawer front. The drawer sides are full height and are attached to the front and back with hand-cut dovetails. The outside back corners of the drawer are chamfered on the outside through the dovetail joint.    The drawer bottom is a single board with grain running from side to side, and chamfering on the exterior at the front and sides. The drawer bottom is let into a groove in the front and sides and nailed to the underside of the back. The drawers rest on runners, one original and one replaced. Both the top and bottom front rails are attached with a mortise and tenon to the front legs. A band of light and dark wood inlay in a geometric pattern runs along the lower edge of the bottom front rail, and continues across the front of the front legs.    The outside of the aprons sides are veneered, the inside of the apron sides are unoxidized with evidence of yellow glue. The apron back is a single board with horizontal grain attached to the rear legs with mortise and tenon joints.    Legs are ring-turned beneath the apron, reeded and tapered to a ring turning above an integral cylindrical foot. The square top of the front legs have a rectangle of geometric inlay.    The underside of the top has modern mill marks and evidence of yellow glue. The apron back is separating from the legs exposing the tenon. Some of the parts of this table seem to have modern interventions, while others have the patina of age, making the dating of the piece a challenge absent additional information."},{"label":"Date
