Doors open up into cubbyholes and shelves. Fall-lid drops open into a flat surface on which to write, revealing the inside of the desk with small drawers and cubbyholes. Shell carvings are on the left and right, as well as the center, which is flanked by colonettes. Below the desk, are four bombe graduated long drawers, which are fitted with original brass bail handles and escutcheons. A pendant drop hangs from the center of the carved apron.
