Surmounting the upper case is a pediment of three urn finials on plinths. The doors have gothic-arched windows separated by pilasters in an arcade, with veneered tablets below and molded edges. The drawers above the desk have veneered tablets and banding with pigeonholes flanked by drawers. Three layers of drawers with drop pulls. The lower case consists of a roll-top fitted with two engraved knobs. Below the roll-top are four drawers: two side-by-side above two larger drawers. All of the drawers are molded, veneered, and framed in dark wood banding. Each of the drawers have oval escutcheons and bail pulls and keyhole surrounds and locks.
