The stand is shaped like a quarter circle. The stand top is a quarter circle of one board with a large circle cut out in the center and a small one to either side. There are overhanging edges at the front and sides with an integral half-round molding all around. There is evidence of missing glue blocks underneath the shelf. There is a gallery on the top shelf of two ogee curves meeting at the top in a half-circle with a small shelf between the two. There is a skirt around the front of the top shelf which is mortise and tenoned into the legs. A lower shelf is made out of three boards with an integral quarter-round molding around the front edge. The shelf is attached with glue blocks. The bottom of the washstand is made of two boards shaped like a crossbow with and integral half-round molding around all the edges. It is attached with nails, and there is a small support piece attached underneath each side where it attaches to the legs. There are two front legs and one back leg, all of which are Marlborough. The two front legs curve forward at the bottom, with the back leg is straight.  There is one drawer in the lower shelf, which has a hole cut into the frame at the front for the drawer. The drawer has a solid front with full height sides and a planed back. The drawer bottom has a front to back grain and is chamfered at the front and sides where it is let into grooves and nailed at the back. The sides are dovetailed together. The drawer rest on their original runners, which are attached underneath boards nailed in place at the front and back that act as drawer supports."},{"label":"Date
