The lid is blocked to match the case, has cove molded edges and a keyhole surround, and is supported by four hinges. The interior is stepped, with blocked and fan-carved drawers; the center drawer is mirrored. The case is blocked in three distinct sections, with rounded top corners; cock-bead molding edges the drawer openings. The four graduated drawers have escutcheons of three similar but distinct shapes: the keyhole surrounds all match, the escutcheons behind the bail pulls on the top drawer match, and the escutcheons behind the rest of the bail pulls match. The drawers are flanked by turned and stop-fluted three-quarter columns with urn-and-flame finials, on block plinths which swell outward from the case. Cove-and-quarter-round molding creates a narrow skirt with a central scrolled pendant.
