The top of the table is rectangular in shape when fully open. The table top consists of one rotating board and one hinged board attached to the rotating board with knife hinges. The rotating board pivots on a screw mounted within the table top support. The table top support is fixed with a central storage well. The front, side, and back edges of the table top are decorated with reeding. There is evidence of plane marks on the underside of the table top. The underside of the table support is chamfered and attached with screws. The table top is supported on a cylindrical pillar. Two rectangular through tenons attach the pillar to the table top support. A circular through tenon attaches the pillar to the larger cylindrical section of the pillar base, and is visible at the underside of the pillar. The top and bottom of the pillar are decorated with moldings. Four sabre legs are attached to the underside of the pillar with sliding dovetails. The legs have scrolled and foliate-carved tops with decorative brass caps. One cap is missing.
