The edges are molded and grooved. Each corner is a projecting ovolo roundel. The pilasters bracing the case have four reeded sections separated by plan bands. The case holds five drawers, with two at the top horizontally aligned. Each drawer has two ring pulls attached with flower-shaped escutcheons and a keyhole. Thin bead molding lines the edges of the drawers. Three layers of bead molding line the bottom of the case, transitioning to a shaped apron with a rounded-square central section flanked by cyma-curves and small scrolls at the front corners. The side corners, formed by the case and pilasters, have matching scrolled brackets. All four brackets are attached to short fluted sections of the pilasters.
