The top of the table features a painted, polychrome bouquet of flowers framed in lightwood inlay with a lunette design. The side opening sewing bag has a locking component and a brass lion's-head knob. The backside of the case has a painted shell motif, and the sides are decorated in painted fruits. Painted pillars are on all corners of the case. Both of the two drawers at the front of the case, which are made of mahogany, have two brass lion's-head pulls, a keyhole, and painted leafage. The bottom drawer opens to reveal compartments covered with tooled red leather. The four curly maple legs have baluster turnings and terminate on castors. According to Israel Sack, Inc., as of 1990, the table is ?Ç£well-preserved?Ç¥ and the lion's-head pulls are original."},{"label":"Date Digitized","value":"7/20/2018"},{"label":"Materials","value":"Maple; Figured maple; Satinwood; Mahogany; Paint; Brass; Leather; Unidentified textile"},{"label":"Style","value":["Federal"]},{"label":"Basis of Date","value":"Date range 1800-1810 provided by Israel Sack, Inc., 1990.
