A rectangular, padded cushion sits on a platform supported by curule legs. There are carved volutes in the spaces between the platform and the upper scrolls of the legs. A reel-turned stretcher braces the legs at the center. The exterior surfaces of the legs are carved with a roundel where the stretcher meets the interior surfaces of the legs. The roundels have molded outer edges and an inner nodule within a circular recess.
