The rectangular crest rail has a paneled tablet featuring a carved shell at center, set between the rear stiles, which are scrolled backward at the top and are continuous with the seat frame and front legs. The slightly rounded back rail consists of two carved, foliated c-scrolls, joined at center. The seat fabric is dark brown imitation leather.
