Blocked interior with central, open prospect with a pigeonhole over a drawer, flanked by pilastered document drawers. The left and right sides of the desk interior each have two valenced pigeonholes over a wide drawer and two stacked drawers with concave blocking and shell carving. The prospect, pigeonholes, and drawers sit above an intermediate shelf, below which are wide drawers flaking a central opening. Each of the drawers is fitted with a single knob, likely brass.  The desk has four graduated, full-width drawers; the top drawer is flaked with lopers. Each drawer is fitted with two bail pulls and a keyhole surround. Shadows on the drawer exteriors suggest that the hardware has been replaced. The desk has deep molding at the front and sides of the base and a shallow center pendant.
