The table top is a single board with straight edges and protruding circular corners. The top overhangs the apron on all four sides. Top is attached with two screws in pockets at case back which, is made from a single horizontal board. Visible ghosting from glue blocks, which once reinforced sides and top. Both case sides made from single horizontal board. Front edges of case sides are presumably squared but obscured by legs. Exterior of case is veneered on all sides. Case sides are cut out at front to accommodate vertical board support, which is dovetailed into bottom rail or drawer support. On interior above top drawer runner, case side is cut out near top for reasons unknown. Attachment of case sides to front is not visible. Along top rail, there are holes for screws (missing). The rail is dovetailed into front side framing boards where overcuts are visible.  There are two stacked drawers running full length of case front. Drawer fronts are solid mahogany. Original drawer runners are nailed into case side. Remnants of glue from drawer stoppers visible, but stops themselves do not survive. Drawer sides and back are full height and not grooved for runners. Drawer bottoms made from single pine board, running side to side with chamfering at front and sides. Four legs are cut to fit against case sides. Attachment of legs to case is unclear and not visible. Legs are turned and carved with series of concave and convex rings and bulbous turnings, which continue top to bottom into an inverted cup, additional ring turnings, tapered reeding, cove, quarter round band, ring and plain turning ending in ball foot on disk continuous with leg. Drawers are dovetailed at sides, back and front. The drawer bottom is let into a groove in front, sides and nailed to underside of back (holes visible, nails missing). The top front rail is attached with a sliding dovetail. There are two dividers with vertical veneer, also attached with sliding dovetails.  Drawers have two replaced stamped brass bail pulls. There is a single brass hook (possibly original) on case sides and back. Overall condition is good, with minor veneer loss and cracking and surface damage from light. Secondary wood is pine.
