The chair originally had an open tablet crest; now the top rail and miniature spindles that formed the tablet are missing. The tops of the stiles are damaged and extend above the remaining lower rail of the tablet crest. The stiles cant slightly outward. Between the stiles are seven spindles. All of the rods and spindles are bamboo-turned and tenoned to the plank. The balloon-shaped seat is slightly dished and chamfered along the front edge. Four bamboo-turned, splayed legs extend from the plank. The legs are braced by bamboo-turned stretchers in a box-shape, one at front and at back positioned between the upper portion of the legs and side stretchers positioned just above the terminals."},{"label":"Date Digitized","value":"12/4/2018"},{"label":"Marks, Signatures, and Inscriptions","value":"Branded under seat: [A.
