An upholstered and racked-back seat has a molded crest. The ends of the crest rail are fixed to the side stiles. The side stiles are block-, spool-, and ring-turned and topped by small urn-and-ball finials. The stiles are continuous with the legs and terminals, which are stump and cant backward. Ten bipartite stretchers, six side stretchers (three on each side) and four transverse stretchers (including one at the front) are all spool-turned at center and double-ball-turned with reel and cylindrical turnings. The side stretchers are joined to the upper leg blocks and the transverse stretchers are joined to the lower leg blocks. The bed stands on six block-and-baluster-on-ring-turned legs with ball feet.  The upholstery pictured is modern.
