The interior has a central prospect door with a round keyhole surround and a convex blocked front topped by fan carving. The door is flanked by vertical document drawers with turned half columns with urn-and-flame finials; these are flanked by four pigeonholes with scrolled valances and dividers over two drawers with double convex blocked fronts. At the outside are six stacked drawers with concave blocked fronts and fan carving at the top. The case is blocked in three distinct sections ending in rounded corners at the top. The four graduated drawers have escutcheons and bail pulls; cock-bead molding edges the drawer openings. Cove-and-quarter-round molding forms a narrow skirt, with a shaped central pendant.
