The back has an inlaid crest rail tablet that is scrolled backward and features a veneered panel. The back rail is intricately carved with hollow volutes joining at the middle and brackets in the spandrels with a classical motif. The side are a continuous slope to the seat frame. There is gadrooning along the front seat rail.
