The rectangular back is angled slightly back. The curved crest rail has square shoulders. The seat and back have been reupholstered in a striped, cream-colored textile. There is cording along the sides of the back and the lower edge of the seat frame, as well around the tops of the front legs and the arms. The underside of the trapezoidal seat is covered and cannot be examined. The S-curved arms are joined to S-curved arm supports with mortise and tenon joints that are pegged through the tops of the arms. Due to the upholstery, it cannot be determined whether the arm supports are continuous with the front legs. The therm front legs are chamfered along the front outer edge. The stump rear legs are chamfered along the front edges below the rear stretcher. The H-form stretchers have flat sawn sides and quarter round molding on top. The center stretcher is attached to the side stretchers with a sliding dovetail.
