The top is made of a single piece of white marble with grey veining. The rectangular top has a serpentine front edge and turret front corners. The top overhangs the front and sides of the frame, to which it is glued. A backboard extends up from the back edge of the top. The upper edges of the backboard are ogee-curved and rise to a point at the center back. The frame follows the profile of the top and is constructed with dovetails and nails. The upper and lower edges of the frame are outlined in beaded molding.  The front of the frame contains two side-by-side drawers. The thick drawer fronts are cut to follow the profile of the frame and overhang the drawer sides and bottom. The drawer fronts are veneered and have beaded molding along the lower edges. The drawer sides and back are dovetailed and reinforced with glue blocks. The drawer bottoms are nailed to the undersides of the backs and let into grooves along the drawer sides. Both drawers have been repaired.  Two spiral-turned legs extend down from beneath the turret corners of the frame and terminate with tapering, cylindrical feet flanked with gadrooned ring turnings. Two rear Marlborough legs terminate in squared feet flanked with overhanging gadrooning. All of the legs are fitted with wooden castors.  A low shelf acts as stretcher between the legs. The front edge of the shelf follows the serpentine profile of the table top. The shelf has a low backboard that follows the profile of the backboard on the table top. The backboard is outlined in beading along the upper edge. A decorative carving extends up from the point at the center back.  The front right foot has been repaired.
