The upper case has a broken scroll pediment with complex molding along the top edge of the pediment. Gilded flame and urn finials are mounted on top of short rectangular plinths at the front corners and on a plinth that extends from the center front of the pediment. Below the cornice is a central tall drawer with a central arched recess with a scallop carving; shorter drawers flank the central drawer. The lower edges of the three drawer fronts are in alignment. Below are four full width, graduated drawers.  Decorative molding outlines the front and sides of the lower case top. The lower case has two short, side-by-side drawers over three side-by-side drawers. The center lower drawer has a central arched recess with a scallop carving. The skirt of the lower case is shaped in three compressed arches. Four cabriole legs support the lower case. The legs terminate in pad feet.  The full-width drawers have a central escutcheon and two bail pulls on bat-wing escutcheons. The flanking drawers each have a single bail pull. The case is japanned with human and animal figures. The sides of the upper case are painted with buildings, trees, and abstracted foliate designs. Winged cherub heads flank the small central top drawer.
