The upholstered sofa back is slightly arched. Sloping, upholstered vertical wings extend forward from either side of the back. The front vertical edges of the wings are faced with mahogany. Short arms curve downward from the top of the facing strips to meet arm supports that are continuous with the front exterior legs. The straight-front seat is upholstered over the rail and has a cushion that extends the width of the seat. The arm supports are vase-turned and reeded with ring turnings just above blocks at the level of the seat rail. The fronts of the blocks are veneered in light-colored wood. Below the blocks, the front legs are turned in the reverse pattern of the arm supports. Two additional front legs have the same turnings. All four front legs terminate in turned, tapered feet.
