The top has quarter-round molded edges and an inlaid compass star at center, although the star lacks two rays. The case has a row of two drawers over a row of three drawers. The top drawers and outer lower drawers each are outlined in light and dark stringing, have quarter-round molded edges, and have a single bail pull on engraved escutcheon. The lower central drawer has quarter-round molded edges, an inset arch with an inlaid fan, a light and dark stringing outline around both the drawer and the fan, a keyhole with a narrow inlaid keyhole surround, and a lunette-shaped pull at the point of the fan. The sides each have an inlaid compass star. The skirt is flat arched with two turned acorn pendants on plinths with cock-bead molding at the bottom.
