(43.2 cm)"},{"label":"Description","value":"Comb-back Windsor chair framed by a u-shaped arm rail with an oval shaped seat and baluster turned arm supports and legs. From the slightly curved crest, which is scrolled at either end, are nine spindles possibly tenoned completely through the arm rail to the plank. In addition to the nine spindles, from the arm rail to the plank are four spindles bolstering the arm support. The oval-shaped seat is shallowly dished and rounded along the front. The arm terminals are rounded. The arm supports are vase shaped baluster-turned enhanced with spool and cylindrical turnings.  The leg turnings match the arm supports while terminating in swelled and tapered feet. The side stretchers are centrally grooved and swelled and are connected in an H-shape with the medial stretcher. The center component of the medial stretcher is noticeably swelled and capped by disc-turning and flared outer posts.  [S.J.
