The stiles, spindles, short spindles, and arm supports are all bamboo-turned. The flat arms mortise into the stiles and curve to the front; they have rounded terminals. Short spindles penetrate the arms and are wedged. The six bamboo-turned legs are tenoned through the rectangular seat and wedged. The side stretchers are bulbous-turned with an incised central line; they are joined by bamboo-turned medial stretchers.
