The crest takes a double ogee shape with a carved plume at center. The shoulders of the chair back are squared. Between the stiles is a caned splat. The rear stiles are continuous and terminate in stump feet. A trapezoidal-shaped frame supports a caned seat. The legs are block-and-blub turned, and the front legs terminate in Spanish feet. The legs are braced by a swelled medial stretcher and side tapered and squared stretchers just above the feet that make an h-shape. Additional front and rear stretchers are ball-and-ring turned and are just below the seat.  A double \"E\" is punched onto the back of a rear leg.  According to Bernard & S.
