(45.1 cm)"},{"label":"Description","value":"Empire-style work table made of mahogany with mahogany veneer and white pine.  The tabletop is in three sections: two hinged leaves and a central fixed leaf, all with molded edges, atop a case of three graduated drawers. The fly leaves have rounded corners. On each drawer are two engraved brass knobs flanking a central keyhole. Around the base is molding. Inside the drawers are compartments of various sizes. The four c-curved legs are attached to and stem from two acanthus-carved, lyre-shaped supports. The knees are carved in a foliate design. The feet are paw and stand on castors.  The brass lining around the keyhole of the center drawer is missing, as of 1976, but appears to have been replaced as of 1987.
