(54.6 cm)"},{"label":"Description","value":"Federal-style, straight-front desk-and-bookcase made of mahogany and curly maple veneers primary wood with white pine secondary wood.  Surmounting the top is a pediment with three urn finials. The doors have gothic-arched windows separated by pilasters, with eglomise at the base of the windows. The back of the interior is wallpapered. There are veneered tablets below the doors. The lower case holds three drawers with engraved drop ring pulls and keyholes and locks below a hinged writing surface, flanked by fluted pilasters. Around the drawer fronts is banding. The legs are turned and fluted with applied turned decorations, terminating on cylindrical feet.
