CC-31. PCGS Gem New 66PPQ. This is an impressive note in all regards. As the lowest denomination from the issue date, it is much scarcer in high grades and commands a premium value. The margins are broad and even around the entire perimeter. The emblem on the face shows a weighted bowl on an acanthus plant. The motto is DEPRESSA RESURGIT (Though crushed it recovers). Boldly printed with the nature print back very deeply detailed. This is the second finest note graded by PCGS; there is one Gem New 67PPQ on the population report. An exceptional note. Ex: Eric P.
