This is an unlisted, slightly earlier, version of the Haxby SENC listed $2 note (it would be a G4 if a listing were to be inserted in a revision of Haxby) from a bank open for three years. Nicely styled by Wellstood, Hanks, Hay & Whiting and fully issued. A resting farm girl with a pail on her lap is at top center. At left, above the Auditor's Seal, is Justice with her scales and sword. At lower right, a farmer sharpens his long scythe. Above him, cherubs flank a TWO counter. Noted with \"Minor Rust Stains,\" which are obscured by border ink at the bottom. Only one note is illustrated in Haxby, a $3, and this is an extremely rare bank and note.
