The American Bank Note Co., Philadelphia layout provides excellent vignette and color contrast. Under the arced title at top center, Agriculture is seated next to an adaptation of the shield from the State Seal. A bounty of produce is on both sides and a plow is behind. Below, a green protector guilloche outlines a white FIVE. Numeric counters are in the upper corners. Henry Clay is pictured at lower left. Winfield Scott is at lower right in an oval frame embellished with flags and Arms. A very crisp and bold example, though we note the right end margin is trimmed in slightly.
