A fascinating and rare note from a series emitted from Chattanooga, Tennessee, seen in smaller print. Tie notes such as this, using a dual-city approach, were commonplace. Dated 1858, but a Manly & Orr plate style indicates a reused printing plate. Allegorical female figures are at the ends: Agriculture at the left and Justice at the right. The top center shows seated Ceres and Mechanics between oval counters. PCGS notes \"Ink Erosion; Small Edge Tears; Piece Missing at UL; Tape Repair on Back.\" An underrated note with the denomination missing from the Walter B. Jones 2001 sale. This is the only note from the issuer we have offered, and none of them were high grade. Ex: Eric P.
