The bank eventually became a National Bank and redeemed notes well after the Civil War. This small format-type shows a charming vignette of reclining Ceres beneath the curving bank title. The imprint of W. & R. Alby. is at the bottom. The denomination is reported, but not listed, in Haxby, and another example illustrated in the Harris book. An interesting odd denomination. Ex: Eric P.
