NC-34. PCGS Very Fine 30 Apparent. This is a higher denomination contemporary counterfeit from a fascinating and uniquely styled early series. This example was condemned in the period and \"Counterfeit\" is penned diagonally across the face. The affixed paper seal at bottom center is well done, and there is only a sole back endorsement. A bright note with sharply drawn \"signatures.\" Noted with \"Center Split Tape Repaired; Small Edge Tears, Damage in LL Corner.\" Overall, an attractive example from this early, handwritten series.
