CAC. WB-105. Tripled 43. Ex: \"Col.\" E.H.R. Green. The third of three NGC AU58 half dollars in this sale. Multiple punching on the lower parts of the 43 is evident. This piece displays the often-seen and attractive silvery-gray toning with gold and blue highlights, showing just the barest of friction on the coin's high points. There are a few marks on the obverse shield, none serious, which will establish this coin's pedigree to the Eric P. Newman Collection. Cracked dies are typical for this date and this coin is no exception. The obverse shows a die crack from the base of the date into the right field; the reverse has a die crack from the rim at 1 o'clock through the O(F) to the eagle's head. Ex: \"Colonel\" E.H.R.
