India paper mounted on original cardstock from the original $1-$2-$3-$5 proof sheet. There are only three sets of earlier style proofs like this known to us. One is on India paper only and came from the Wismer-Bookbinder-Krause proofs. The other was a sheet in the 1990 American Bank Note Company Sale. A gorgeous red lace tint is across the note, with an outlined \"TWO\" protector across bottom center. At top center, people observe a regatta from the shore. At lower left is a locomotive in an oval. The upper corners show intricate Durand patent dies. Noted as \"Hole Punch Cancelled\" and \"Mounted on Cardstock\" as made.
