An elegant Abner Reed proof on India paper, but without an imprint as noted by George Wait. At top center, Justice, holding her scales aloft, reclines against a pillar showing \"10\" to indicate the denomination. A wide cityscape is seen on the opposite shore, and an islet with two simple houses is between. Flanking are \"10\" counters, and an \"X\" counter is at bottom center. End panels show complex beading, floral elements, and organic patterns. The Apparent notation is for \"Minor Stains\" that little affect this charming note. Ex: Eric P.
