PCGS Very Fine 20 Apparent.  This is an unlisted town (located near Fort Edward) and issuer, and the first we have seen. The devices are very similar to those on the Sackride & Willoughby 3 Pence, perhaps printed by the same concern. A double-line border is on three sides. The left end shows a panel with the denomination twice, with title capitalization and in all capital letters. Surrounding is an interesting pattern made up of intersecting rows and columns of the letter \"o\" (although not as straight as on the Sackride & Willoughby example) along with two \"4\" numerals (one sideways) and FOUR SHILLINGS, The denomination FOUR SHILLINGS is across the top, and \"4\" counters are in the right corners. The back is blank. Noted as \"Severed and Repaired; Minor Stains; Small Edge Splits.\" This interesting shilling-denominated bill is quite likely unique. Ex: Eric P.
