A second 50-cent note from the Aaron T. Crane \"Land Agency Office\" series. Printed on frail white paper without imprint. Similar to the 25 and 75-cent notes from the series. Accordion-style cartouches are at both ends, with POST OFFICE EXCHANGE at left and LAND AGENCY OFFICE at right. Obligations and the denomination are across, with the French equivalent neatly in italics at the top center. The top and bottom show decorative borders. There is a very faint hint of the \"ST. LOUIS\" portion of a postmark, but not the date. Noted with \"Pieces Missing; Internal Tears.\" About 15-20% is missing, but the Crane signature is away from the faults and sharply penned for the grade. Ex: Eric P.
