Georgia 1776 Blue-Green Seal $1 Justice Fr. GA-71e. PCGS Extremely Fine 45. This rare type is from a series with only two denominations. The $4 note is exceedingly rare and unpriced in Newman. Printed on an eight-note sheet. This is border variety (c) featuring 16 ornaments left of the vertical line at the top and 12 ornaments left of vertical line in the bottom. The Justice seal color is a distinctive hue with motto SUSTINE RECTUM above. This example is especially choice. The wide, even margins frame the crisply printed note perfectly. The four signatures are bold. This note is as appealing, if not more so, than the finer Boyd collection note (Ford Part X: Lot 4533) that realized $2,760 in May 2005.
