A four-subject sheet of high-denomination Requisitions for Defence bonds printed on unwatermarked paper by Keatinge & Ball. A and B positions of each denomination. Seated Ceres is depicted at lower left and a vignette of slaves picking cotton is at upper right on the $50 notes; Jefferson Davis appears at the center on the $100 notes along with standing Ceres at lower left. Both denominations have elaborate dies, with the $50 showing circular male profile portraits at upper left and the $100 having circular female facing portraits in the upper corners. Red numerical protectors are on each face, and green backs show the obligations at the center. The sheet is trimmed down to the frame lines as usual.
