This uses the same layout as the 5 cent remainder, which is common for all denominations. Printed on white bond paper by A. McClean lith. With simple text and obligation across the note and an ornate numerical die in the center. In green undertint are a Seated Liberty dime reverse at left, large \"10\" protector over the die, and 1860 dime obverse at right. The green left end outlines a white TEN. The legal obligation states: \"I PROMISE TO PAY BEARER without defalcation or discount when presented in sums of one Dollar or its multiple.\" Not dated or signed. The Newman Collection also contains a signed and dated 10-cent note. Well margined and exceptional. Ex: Eric P.
