NC-154d. PCGS Fine 15 Apparent.  This note is from one of the most interesting and diverse issues in all Colonial Currency. It features 56 types ranging in denomination from $1/16 to $20. All low fractional denomination notes are hard to find in high grade, and that includes the eight different $1/8 denominations from the series. This Newman Internet Part 2 sale features a rarely encountered array from this series. There are six fractional notes using monograms, and the Newman Collection has them all. This is an impressive achievement. The \"Mirrored H\" monogram type is exceedingly rare and one of the hardest to find of the 56 April 2, 1776 types. The \"Mirrored H\" was missing from the F. C. C. Boyd Collection, which makes the rarity quite evident. This has a very sharply printed monogram at the lower left. There are some faults, mostly confined to wide edges. Noted with \"Minor Damage\" and \"Backed,\" which refers to a translucent paper sheet added to stabilize the note. This is the first we have cataloged and it is a key North Carolina note. Ex: Eric P.
