Beneath the curving title, a farm couple stands at the well; she holds a pitcher to fill the cup in his hand as water drips from a spout into the trough below. The portrait of the woman at upper left shows off her fine collar and cuff. At the lower right is the elk's head emblem for the town and bank. A resting farmer is at the base.
