GA-65a. PCGS Extremely Fine 40 Apparent.  This smaller width format half crown Horse vignette note shows the Sterling denomination printed at the left end, but not at the right. The vignette used on the note is a charming rendering of Colonial era folk art. This is a vibrant example and one of the finest we have seen. The borders are a trifle tight here and there, but the superior paper and pleasing originality are impressive. Noted only with some \"Minor Mounting Remnants on Back,\" which of course do not affect the stunning eye appeal. Ex: Eric P.
