The vignette at top center showing various commercial goods is cupped into the center of the curving title underneath. At the left end is a rare titled portrait of Charles Cotesworth Pinckney, a member of the famous family. He was a signer of South Carolina Colonial notes. After the Revolution, he was U.S. Minister to France during the \"XYZ Affair\"; he was nominated twice as a Federalist presidential candidate but ran unsuccessfully. The right end panel has a perpendicular TEN in fancy script. Noted with \"Tape Repaired Edge Splits and Tears; Missing UR Corner Tip.\" Even as a contemporary counterfeit, an underrated type.
