A wide format note printed on thin white paper. The Gothic outlined title, \"The Mechanics' Bank,\" is across the top center above ONE DOLLAR. Upper corners have \"$1.00\" counters. A small dog's head vignette is at bottom center between the signatures. Noted with \"Edge and Internal Splits and Tears; Backed\" and as the \"JL Plate Note.\" Backed on a piece of period newspaper. The note faces up well despite the wear, and that is academic if the note is unique. Ex: Eric P.
