This variety, with neither the obverse nor the reverse listed in Kam Ahwash's book on the series, has the two arrow shafts touching the 1 and 3 on the obverse and a large cud, rare on Seated Liberty coinage, on the reverse. A cud occurs when a portion of the die breaks away and the planchet medal \"oozes\" through that cavity when the coin is struck. It is not \"extra medal\" as it is sometimes called.
