PCGS Fine 12 Apparent.  This is the most beautiful Deseret Currency Association series and one of the most striking Western currency designs. Printed on thin, translucent white paper from copper plates bearing the imprint of D. Mackenzie, G.S.L. City. The beautiful plate is signed at the bottom left as \"Drawn by Henry Maiben.\" At top center, horizontally bisecting the title, is a vignette of all manner of livestock. At the left, a hunter standing on a mountain peak leans on his rifle as his dog stands by. At the right, a Native American in similar terrain holds his bow and points upward. In the bottom center is a large beehive, the Mormon symbol of industry. With the engraved signature of Brigham Young and hand signature of the secretary. Very scarce, but with several faults due to the fragility of the paper used. Noted with \"Edge Tears and Damage; Repairs.\" A historic issue. Ex: Eric P.
