PCGS Very Fine 30 Apparent.   A second $5 denomination, but printed from a different face plate with engraved \"bearer\" on the third line of the titles and obligations. Printed on banknote paper by Murray, Draper, Fairman & Co. The layout is the same as previous, except for the absence of the second underscore and \"bearer\" engraved on the plate. The Jefferson bust vignette at top center has JEFFERSON straight across (not arced) and intricate end panels with \"FIVE\" at left and \"MISSOURI\" at right. Plate B. No. 3591. Signed by Louis Bonpart as cashier and Aug. Chouteau as bank president. Noted with some \"Small Edge Tears,\" that are petty. Not protested on the back with blurred ink showing to the face as often encountered on $5 and $10 notes. With outstanding margins and vibrancy, a premium-quality example of this Haxby-number plate type. Ex: Eric P.
